Liquid Glass UI
Description
FlexGrid uses dynamic backgrounds with accent color palettes for a beautiful native macOS experience. When Liquid Glass is enabled, the app applies the system’s translucent material for a modern, depth-rich appearance.
How It Works
The background system has three modes controlled in Preferences > General:
- Dynamic Background Colors with Liquid Glass enabled: Uses
.ultraThinMaterialwith the system Liquid Glass effect for a translucent, depth-aware look. - Dynamic Background Colors without Liquid Glass: Uses
.regularMaterialfor a standard translucent appearance. - Custom background color: A solid color of your choice, ignoring system materials.
An ambient tint layer can subtly wash the background based on the color palette of visible media, creating a cohesive visual atmosphere that adapts to your content.
