Media Filtering

Description

Filter your loaded media by type: show all items together, only videos, or only images. A Smart Media Filter automatically adapts the UI based on your folder contents.

How It Works

Three filter modes are available from View > Filter:

  • All — Shows videos and images together
  • Videos — Only video files
  • Images — Only image files

Filtering is instant and non-destructive. Excluded files are not unloaded — switch back to All and everything reappears.

Smart Media Filter: When a folder contains both videos and images, a segmented picker appears in the control bar. If only one type exists, a label is shown instead of the picker, keeping the UI clean.

Changing the media filter resets seen-item tracking so shuffles immediately reflect the new content set.
