Mood Matching
Problem
Large media libraries lack visual organization. Users want to arrange content by mood, color palette, or energy level rather than filename or date.
Solution
Mood Matching analyzes media for dominant colors and visual energy, then clusters and arranges cells so that similar content is grouped together. Three arrangement modes are available: color gradient, energy level, and cluster grouping.
Current Status
Disabled for v1. The color/energy analysis pipeline is implemented but not exposed in the UI. May return in a future release.
Tier Availability
Was planned for Pro tier.
Known Limitations
- Analysis requires a full scan of all media, which can be slow for large libraries.
- Energy detection works best with video; still images receive a default mid-energy score.
