Side Pane
Problem
Presenters, educators, and curators need reference material visible alongside their media grid without switching apps.
Solution
A resizable side pane displays ePub or PDF documents alongside the grid. Font size, theme (light/dark/sepia), and night mode are customizable. The pane can also display media for comparison.
Tier Availability
- Free: Not available.
- Plus / Pro: Full side pane with ePub/PDF reader and theme customization.
UI Flow
- Open the side pane from the toolbar or View menu.
- Drop an ePub or PDF file into the pane, or use File > Open in Side Pane.
- Adjust font, theme, and night mode from the pane controls.
Known Limitations
- Supports ePub and PDF only; no Word or plain text files.
- Complex ePub layouts may render with simplified formatting.
