Beat Reactivity
Problem
Static grids feel lifeless during live events. Performers want visuals that respond dynamically to music energy.
Solution
Beat Reactivity analyzes microphone or system audio via FFT, splitting the signal into bass, mid, and treble bands. Each band can drive grid effects: pulse (scale cells on bass hits), shuffle (swap cells on snare), and color wash (tint on treble).
UI Flow
- Open Performance > Beat Reactivity settings.
- Select audio source (microphone or system audio).
- Assign effects to frequency bands using the three-band mixer.
- Adjust sensitivity thresholds per band.
- Effects apply in real time to the active grid.
Tier Availability
Pro only.
Known Limitations
- Requires microphone permission for mic input mode.
- High-latency Bluetooth audio sources may cause visible desync.
