Lottie Animations

Problem

Users want to include animated graphics (lower-thirds, motion graphics, animated stickers) in their grid alongside video and image content.

Solution

FlexGrid plays .lottie and .json Lottie animation files directly in grid cells. Animations loop by default and respect the same cell actions (advance, shuffle, lock) as video and image content.

UI Flow

1. Add .lottie or .json files to the media folder.
2. FlexGrid detects and displays them as grid cells alongside other media.
3. Animations loop continuously; use Lock to keep one in place.
4. Mix freely with video and image content in any layout.

Known Limitations

• Only Lottie format supported; Rive and SVG animations are not.
• Complex Lottie files with many layers may reduce frame rates on older hardware.
