Scenes

Problem

Users need to switch between different grid configurations instantly during live shows or presentations without manually reconfiguring each time.

Solution

Scenes save and restore the full grid state: layout, content assignments, filters, playback settings, and display options. Up to 9 scenes are accessible via Cmd+1 through Cmd+9. Each scene can be color-tagged for quick visual identification. The Session Palette provides an overview of all saved scenes.

UI Flow

1. Configure the grid to the desired state.
2. Save via Scenes > Save Scene or Cmd+Shift+[1-9].
3. Assign a color tag and optional name in the Session Palette.
4. Recall any scene instantly with Cmd+[1-9].
5. Manage, reorder, and delete scenes in the Session Palette panel.

Known Limitations

• Maximum of 9 scene slots.
• Scenes reference media by file path; moved or deleted files will show as missing.
