Timed Autopilot

Problem

Show runners need scene changes at exact clock times (e.g., switch to sponsor reel at 7:45 PM) without being present at the computer.

Solution

Timed Autopilot schedules scene recalls at specific wall-clock times. Unlike Smart Scheduling’s recurring rules, Autopilot entries are one-shot events tied to absolute times, ideal for linear show rundowns.

UI Flow

  1. Open Performance > Timed Autopilot.
  2. Add entries with an absolute time and target scene.
  3. Preview the timeline to verify order and spacing.
  4. Activate Autopilot; FlexGrid recalls scenes at the specified times.
  5. Entries are removed after firing or can be set to repeat.

Tier Availability

Pro only.

Known Limitations

  • The Mac must remain awake and FlexGrid must be running.
  • Clock skew on the system will affect trigger accuracy.

Marketing One-Liner

Schedule scene changes at exact clock times for hands-free show orchestration.
