Description

A momentum-style time-aware greeting with theatrical sub-messages welcomes you each time you launch FlexGrid.

How It Works

On launch, FlexGrid displays a greeting based on the time of day:

• 5 AM - 11 AM: “Good morning”
• 12 PM - 4 PM: “Good afternoon”
• 5 PM onwards: “Good evening”

Below the greeting, a curated sub-message is randomly selected from a pool of theatrical one-liners like “The stage is set,” “Your studio awaits,” and “Dim the lights. Hit play.”

If a display name is set in Preferences, greetings may address you by name.

On macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled, the AI Personality Engine can generate dynamic greetings and sub-messages flavored by the selected personality mode (Standard, FlexGrid Signature, or Minimal). Results are cached for instant recall and fall back to static text when AI is unavailable.
